Steve Hughes is a 2010 Kresge Literary Fellow. His collection Stupor: A Treasury of True Stories (2011) was funded by a grant from the Kresge Foundation. His short story collection STIFF (2018) was published by Wayne State University Press as part of their Made in Michigan Writers Series.
